BeadnFloat (TODO) is based in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains our voluntary returns program and, separately, your statutory rights under British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA) and Sale of Goods Act. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces any right you have under applicable law.
1. 30-Day Returns
We accept returns of unused products within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
To qualify:
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. For bead kits, this means the kit is unopened or all components remain sealed in their compartments.
- You must provide your order number.
- Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at your cost. We recommend a tracked service; we are not responsible for return parcels lost in transit.
To start a return, email TODO with your order number and the reason for return. We will confirm the return address and next steps within 2 business days.
Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will issue your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days of receipt (and in any event within any timeframe required by law). Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us at TODO within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will, at your choice where the law provides it, send a replacement or issue a full refund — including your original shipping charges. You will not be asked to pay return shipping for our error or for defective goods.
Goods we sell come with implied conditions under the British Columbia Sale of Goods Act, including that they are of merchantable quality, fit for their purpose, and durable for a reasonable period of normal use. These conditions cannot be excluded in a consumer retail sale, and this policy does not attempt to exclude them.
3. Your Statutory Cancellation Rights (Distance Sales)
Because you buy from us online, your purchase is a distance sales contract under Part 4 of the BPCPA. In addition to our voluntary returns program above, you have the right to cancel your contract and receive a full refund if:
- Your order does not arrive on time. If we do not deliver your order within 30 days of the delivery/supply date stated in your order confirmation — or, if no date was stated, within 30 days of the date you placed the order — you may cancel.
- You did not receive a copy of your contract. We are required to give you a copy of your contract (your order confirmation email) within 15 days of purchase. If we do not, you may cancel within 30 days of the date the contract was entered into.
- Your contract is missing required information. If your order confirmation is missing information required by law, you may cancel within 7 days of receiving it.
How to cancel: send notice of cancellation to TODO or by mail to TODO. We recommend a method that gives you proof of delivery.
What happens next: where a contract is cancelled under these statutory rights, we will refund all money paid under the contract, without deduction — including shipping, fees, and taxes — within 15 days of your cancellation notice, in the original form of payment. If you have received goods, you must return them to us within 15 days of giving notice of cancellation or within 15 days of delivery, whichever is later; the goods must not have been used or damaged beyond what is reasonable to inspect them.
4. Exchanges
We are happy to exchange unused items (for example, a different bead size or colour) within 30 days of delivery. Follow the returns process in section 1 and tell us which item you would like instead. If there is a price difference, we will charge or refund the difference. Outbound shipping on the exchanged item is free for the first exchange on an order.
5. Sale and Clearance Items
Sale and clearance items are covered by this policy on the same terms as full-price items, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
6. Refund Method and Timing
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds by store credit unless you ask for it. Timeframes:

7. International Orders
For orders shipped outside Canada, this policy applies alongside any non-waivable consumer rights in your own jurisdiction. Import duties and taxes paid to your local customs authority are not collected by us and cannot be refunded by us; contact your customs authority regarding recovery of duties on returned goods.
8. Questions or Complaints
Contact us first at TODO — most issues are resolved within a few days. If you are in British Columbia and we cannot resolve a dispute, you may contact Consumer Protection BC (consumerprotectionbc.ca) or bring a claim through BC's Civil Resolution Tribunal or the courts. Nothing in this policy prevents you from posting an honest review, participating in a class proceeding, or choosing any dispute-resolution venue available to you by law.
