Strong match — this colour is a top pick for prime green water in the fall salmon drop.
Fresh fish and ~18–24in visibility — the money window. Fish the largest bead you're confident with; bright draws reactive strikes. Fresh eggs drifting — translucent, bright orange/red.

Oct–Mar in fast runs and tailouts. Match the spawn colour to the river's egg drift — amber and flo-orange are year-round producers on the lower Fraser.

Peak bite during the egg drop. Size up to 14–19mm for Chinook; 10–12mm for Coho. Dead-drift tight to the bottom — presentations that bounce get passed up.

6–10mm on finicky clearwater fish. Rig on a 12-inch fluorocarbon tag off a float so the bead hangs naturally. Smaller = more takes in technical runs.

Soft beads for fishing are an essential tool for anglers looking to enhance their fishing experience. These versatile soft beads provide an effective way to attract fish and increase catch rates.
One of the main benefits of soft beads is their realistic texture and appearance, which mimic natural fish food. Consequently, this makes them highly attractive to various fish species. Moreover, soft beads are durable and can be used in a variety of fishing environments.
In addition to their realistic appearance, soft beads are also durable, allowing anglers to use them repeatedly without tearing or losing effectiveness. Furthermore, they can be employed in a variety of fishing environments, from fast-moving rivers to calm lakes, making them a versatile addition to any tackle box. Their ability to adapt to different conditions ensures consistent success across fishing seasons.
Therefore, upgrade your tackle box today and experience the difference these high-quality soft beads can make in your fishing success.
Most soft beads come with a moulded hole and a T-stop pushed into it. Two problems with that.
The hole is loose. Your leader rattles around inside it and the bead rides up and down the line all drift. It's also a pre-weakened seam — it's where the bead splits after a few fish, and a burred hole will nick your leader.
The T-stop is a friction fit. Under a hot fish it drags down the leader. Once the bead reaches the hook eye it crowds the gap and levers the hook out. That's a fish lost at your feet.
We do it in three parts, and all three are in the bag.
Soft Bead
Undrilled — no factory hole. You thread your own with a needle, and the soft plastic closes back down and grips the leader. No rattle. No riding up and down. No seam to split.
Sequin
Sits flat behind the bead. Its face is wider than your threaded hole, so the bead can't stretch over the stop under load, and it never grinds against hard glass.
Glass Bead Stop
Knotted into the leader itself. Not wedged, not friction-fit. Can't creep, can't slip, can't fall out.
The full rig: bead → sequin → glass stop → knot → hook.
Set it once at 1.5–2" above the hook and it stays there — first cast to last fish of the day.
Beads, sequins and glass stops in every pack. Bring a needle.
Circles shown at actual size on most screens — 19mm is about the size of a penny.
Hook icons are scaled relative to each other for comparison — actual hook dimensions vary by pattern and brand. Match your hook to local regulations and conditions.
