This disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in it excludes or limits any right you have under the Sale of Goods Act (British Columbia), the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia), or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
1. Not a Toy — Keep Away From Children
BeadnFloat products are fishing tackle intended for adult use. Beads, hooks, pegs, and other small components present a choking hazard and are not suitable for children. Store tackle securely out of reach of children and pets.
2. Fishing Regulations Are Your Responsibility
Angling regulations vary by country, province, state, region, water body, and season — including rules on bead rigs, pegged versus free-sliding beads, distance between bead and hook, hook type and size, barbless requirements, bait bans, and retention limits. Rules that permit a rig in one water may prohibit it in the next.
Product descriptions, guides, and articles on this site are general information only. They are not legal advice and are not confirmation that any product, rig, or technique is lawful where you fish. Before fishing, check the current regulations for your specific water — in British Columbia, consult the current BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis and in-season regulation changes; elsewhere, consult your local fisheries authority.
You are solely responsible for compliance with applicable fishing regulations. We accept no liability for fines, penalties, or licence consequences arising from your use of our products in breach of local rules.
3. Use at Your Own Risk
Fishing involves inherent risks, including sharp hooks, moving water, slippery terrain, and weather. Use appropriate safety equipment and judgment. Our products are supplied for their intended purpose as fishing tackle; we are not responsible for injury or loss arising from misuse or from hazards inherent in angling.
4. Product Information
We take care to describe products accurately. Bead sizes are nominal manufacturing sizes in millimetres and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances. Colours may render differently on screens and can vary slightly between production batches. None of this affects your rights under our Returns & Refunds Policy if an item is not as described.
5. Conservation
Where you practise catch and release, use appropriate gear and handling to maximise fish survival, and follow local best-practice guidance for the species you target.
